Pursuant to Syldavian Royal Decree 42/3, all institutions operating under Syldavian jurisdiction are hereby directed to replace all previous official portraits of His Majesty King Ottokar VI with the newly authorised 2024 edition. This updated portrait presents His Majesty the King of Syldavia in full ceremonial regalia, accompanied by the current official royal moustache style (Type VII-B, trimmed), as ratified by the Royal Aesthetics Commission.
The display of provisional substitutes, edited reproductions, or collaged formats incorporating earlier portraits is not permitted under this directive.
Framing guidelines remain in effect: frames must be matte black or brushed bronze, with a minimum border width of 4 cm.
Portraits are to be mounted in a clearly visible, honourable location, preferably above eye level and, where possible, facing east, in keeping with established spatial protocol.
Certified copies of the 2024 portrait are currently being distributed by the Office of Ceremonial Logistics. Institutions are advised to await these official materials rather than seek independent reproductions.
A supplementary memorandum will be issued shortly, containing further instructions regarding lighting position, dust prevention measures, and the appropriate use of seasonal drapery.
