Syldavian Blue Ink 214B — the only ink authorised for the permanent completion of consular forms, affidavits, and archival annotations — remains temporarily unavailable due to a combination of climate-related viscosity shifts and unforeseen delays along the overland resupply corridor.
While black ink is being accepted as an interim measure, it must be used with discretion. Departments are instructed to avoid non-essential annotations and refrain from artistic embellishments or commemorative calligraphy until the situation stabilises.
A partial shipment is expected to arrive by consular van (via Battambang), with additional stock in transit through the diplomatic pouch system by the end of the month. In the meantime, remaining 214B reserves are to be stored upright, away from sunlight, and logged daily.
Further instructions will be issued upon confirmation of ink integrity and customs clearance.
