The Ministry of Protocol and Ceremonial Standards has released a revised directive outlining the proper observance of the national anthem at all official gatherings, ceremonies, and approved semi-formal functions.
Key updates include the reinstatement of the optional third verse (previously omitted for logistical reasons) and the introduction of a mandatory hand-over-heart gesture during the trumpet solo in the second stanza. Attendees unable to perform the gesture due to physical limitations may substitute with a solemn nod.
Organisers are reminded to allow sufficient time in the event schedule for the full rendition and to avoid overlapping with refreshments or slideshow transitions.
Updated sheet music, gesture diagrams, and sanctioned instrumental recordings are available through the Consular Cultural Liaison Office.
Non-compliance may result in corrective etiquette training or temporary suspension of hosting privileges.
