Operations at the Istoz Natural Mineral Water Facility were temporarily suspended earlier this week due to a malfunction involving a pressure-seal gasket on Line 3. The issue, though minor, triggered an automatic shutdown in accordance with hydration safety protocols.
The faulty component has since been replaced, and output has resumed under monitored conditions. Distribution across consular departments and affiliated kiosks is expected to return to normal rhythm by Friday.
Departments experiencing shortages are advised to maintain existing stock levels and avoid non-essential refreshment displays until resupply is confirmed. A full maintenance report will be available upon request from the Office of Beverage Logistics.
The Consulate in Bangkok maintains a strategic reserve of Zalta mineral water, established in the aftermath of the 2011 floodings. While stocks remain sufficient, staff are reminded that this reserve is intended strictly for emergency use and should not be accessed unless authorisation is granted by the Office of Protective Provisioning.
